Singapore: Chili crab

What an amazing experience – sitting outside eating the national dish with good friends. It was an evening of firsts and chili crab kicked us off. I am a fan and love it with chilled coconut juice.  Its a messy dinner but worth the battle.  We laughed as Steve commented on the folks he brings to this special spot and their reactions to digging in and enjoying the delicacy.  For me, it reminded me of visiting my Mimi in New Hampshire (Project Mimi) and sitting at big picnic tables eating lobster.  There isn’t anything delicate or precious about the event – just good food and fun.
