First days of Fall

First day of Fall

The rains came this weekend. The skies blackened, thunder cracked, and then they opened to release a downpour the likes of which we haven’t seen in a while.

We awoke to crystal clear skies and a welcome hint of cool in the air. Gentle breezes encouraged opening windows. The sunlight bounced off sparkling clean plants and beckoned to the photographer in me to go shoot a few shots. That, and a new lesson on how to use my tripod (I had no idea it so closely resembled a transformer) led to this shot.

I love the changing of the seasons.
