Kensington Station

Kensington Station-2

The transit stop. Here again, I opened the shutter and placed my camera on the nearest bin. You can faintly see the shadow of a young man reading the transit map as he makes his way…. to wherever. In this shot I believe the stark contrast of black and white showcases the beauty of the transit stop without the noise of all the shops that now surround it. I love the coming and going; the bustle of transit in European cities. At this particular corner in London, people go to and fro from trains and madcap double-decker buses that look as though they could topple any minute. So much is going on that the simple shadow of someone stopping is, in itself, ironic.
