is so very different from the walk home. The walk home is shoulder to shoulder – all hustle and bustle. The walk to work is oddly peaceful and quiet and a chance to really see the neighborhood. I prefer the mornings to the evenings – where fixing my gaze on some spot on the horizon is the only assured way of not crashing into passersby making their way … somewhere. It is the moment in Hong Kong where I find the most peace – where I can clear my head of the millions of intrusions this busy city foist upon you, and collect my thoughts for the day ahead.
