Year of the sheep.. or goat?

I’m confused. I got it on very good authority (from someone living in Shanghai) that 2015 was the year of the sheep. Doing a bit of research….

Year of the sheep

And so, I went to the source… SW. Who laughed at me as though I was a totally ridiculous westerner and informed me it was a Goat. He then proceeded to buy me this lovely wall hanging to reinforce that it was in fact a goat and continued laughing at me intermittently throughout the visit…..
