While at Terrain, I found myself drawn to a little corner display all about Pie. First, I love Pie. I don’t eat much of it but within the last few weeks I got to taste two slices of pie that my friend Tim’s wife made – a wedge of chocolate chess pie and one of pecan pie. Soon she will have her own pie shop and I can’t wait. I have visions of a Thanksgiving meal with a selection of pies all from her new venture. So, as a result, my senses are acutely attuned to all things Pie (particularly hard as Pie is a violation of the spring-bathing-suit-readiness-campaign). When I saw this I immediately thought of TH and MH, and how wicked talented the visual group (Greg – you are the best) is at Terrain. I would have lingered over the cookbooks and pie essentials longer had time permitted, but instead I grabbed the book and ran before the act of perusing resulted in the addition of a few pounds.
