Peg Out

croquet In croquet, the peg is an important piece of equipment. Generally it is an 18 inch stick with a 1.5 inch diameter and stripes that always include (in order from top to bottom) Blue, Red, Black and Yellow. In this case also Green and Orange (note that these are PD and my favorite colors). Not much to say about Pegs except that to win the game, one must “peg out” both balls. Winning is fun. I like to win. Pegging out would therefore be fun. Not as much fun as “pigging out” though. Given the choice, I would choose Pig Out… While the peg made for an interesting photo, the pigging out makes for a better afternoon.
